Melon field protection nets

Mesh fabric is used as protection against hares, suited to the purpose both in function and in price. The melon-field protection fabric is light, so setting it up is quick and easy.
Wooden posts are placed around the field, thick enough that the wind cannot blow the net over (in practice a diameter of at least 2 cm is enough), 5–10 m apart. The bottom edge of the net is covered with soil so hares cannot slip underneath, leaving 1.00 m of height above ground, which is enough protection. The cord supplied with it is tied to the posts, and the installation is done. Thanks to its structure (35 g/m²) the net can be used many times (UV stable for 4–5 years).
