GUTTER GUARD NETS
If you live in a house, your gutters can block at any moment and cause needless problems. The chances rise sharply in autumn, but blockages can happen all year round. The only way to be completely safe is to fit gutter guard nets.
In the simplest and cheapest way, prevent the potentially serious problems that water finding the wrong path can cause.
Is it easier to fit gutter guards and have peace of mind, or to worry that water will do serious damage to your home? As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure – so don't wait for the problem to happen, act in time.
Advantages of gutter guard nets
There is no great philosophy here: in a very simple way you get full protection and greatly reduce the chance of blocked gutters.
First of all, a gutter guard stops leaves, twigs and anything else from settling in the gutter, blocking it and stopping rainwater from flowing. Gutter flow is very important: if a gutter blocks, the water will find another way, which can do further damage to the house.
Damage caused by blocked gutters includes: leaks, damp walls, ruined facades, ruined furniture against the damaged wall, lifting parquet and so on. Repairing this damage costs incomparably more than investing in gutter guards.
Another benefit of fitting gutter guards is protection from birds. Birds try every way to find a safe place to nest. They often choose the attic or roof space, getting in under the roof. A gutter guard creates a barrier they cannot get through.
Features of the gutter guard net
Such a simple, cheap product that can spare you needless stress and trouble. The gutter guard net is made of quality plastic, protected against UV radiation, and is a long-term investment. It will last for years, so you don't have to fit it again every year.
Its holes are large enough to let through large amounts of water, yet small enough to stop even the smallest twigs and leaves.
We offer two types of gutter guard:
- a net fixed to the gutter with holders, size: 6 m long and 17 cm wide;
- a spiral net pushed into the gutter that adjusts to the width of the gutter, pack of 5 pieces of 2 m.
How to fit a gutter guard
Besides being a cheap investment, the gutter guard is very easy to fit. You need no tools and no tradesman – you can do it all yourself in a short time.
The pack includes plastic holders with a clip on one side for attaching them to the gutter. Clip the holders to the outer edge of the gutter, so the wind cannot lift them, every 50 cm. Then attach the net by pushing the studs on the holders through the holes in the net.
Gutter guards do not harm the environment in any way. They are also completely invisible when you look up at the roof from the ground, so nobody will notice them and they won't spoil the look of your house.
