Windbreak nets

Besides mechanical damage, wind causes water loss through evaporation, heat loss and soil erosion.
A net set up as a fence reduces the wind by 50% up to a distance of four times the fence height, and by 30% up to eight times the fence height, without causing strong turbulence.
Installed in glasshouses and hotbeds, the windbreak net considerably conserves heat.
Fixed to the fences of livestock pens, the windbreak net also keeps insects and birds out. It can be fixed to a frame or attached along the top edge of the roll, so that rolling it up allows ventilation.
