HORIZONTAL DRAINAGE OF ROADS, RAILWAY BEDS AND EMBANKMENTS

Water in roads and railway beds drastically shortens the life of the structure and causes ground deformation and irreversible damage to the bed. Good drainage of the bed is essential, especially where the soil is soft or has low permeability.

INTER TECH DRAIN laid horizontally across the full width of the road or railway intercepts water reaching the bed or the base of the embankment, whether rainwater or groundwater, and carries it to the sides.

FAST CONSOLIDATION OF SOFT SOIL

In very soft soil, a very effective way to consolidate the ground quickly and prevent differential settlement over time is to use wick drains to collect the water and INTER TECH DRAIN to evacuate it to the sides, which also saves natural drainage materials.
