Labels for mesh packaging

Cup-shaped labels are made for marking and closing mesh packaging with a clip. They are mostly used when packing fruit, vegetables and other food products in extruded or knitted mesh bags.

The narrow part of the label is fixed to the mesh bag with the clip, while the wide part leaves enough room to print the product name, logo, producer details, declaration, barcode and other important information.

Labels can be made from various paper, synthetic and cellulose materials, depending on the product, the packing conditions and the customer's requirements. Printing on one or both sides is available, as is later printing of variable data such as origin, best-before date, barcode and net weight.

Thanks to their sturdy construction, the labels are suited to packing, transport and display at the point of sale. They can be used for mesh packs of potatoes, onions, garlic, apples, citrus and other fruit and vegetables, as well as some non-food products.

How to use

After the mesh bag is filled, its opening is gathered and placed, together with the narrow part of the label, in the closing device. The label and the mesh are then fixed with a clip, while the wide, printed part of the label stays clearly visible on the pack.
